VRP – Kyosho MP11 Option Steering Arms

These are VRP Option Steering Arms for the Kyosho MP11 that will increase the maximum steering angle. The arms are made from USA 7075 Aluminum. They relocate the ball to a new location that increases the available steering angle as well as update the ackerman. There are 3 hole locations for the ball. We suggest starting in the center and then testing the other 2. In general, making the link shorter will produce more ‘scrub’ between the inner and outer wheel and reduce the outer wheel angle slightly, while the long link will reduce ‘scrub’ and increase the outer wheel angle. As a suggestion, test them thru a sweeper where the outside tire is loaded for the easiest feel of the outer tire angle. More ‘scrub’ can be beneficial on small and tight tracks, but could also be useful on loose tracks.

You will need to dremel the Caster Block as shown in the pic below. Be sure to relieve it farther up than stock so the arm clears. Its not a huge amount, don’t go crazy.
